IBSA’s hyaluronic acid (HA) is derived from the biofermentation of Streptococcus zooepidemicus, and it is a ultrapure, sterile, and high-grade HA. Instead of using a common cross-linking structure, this HA is made with NAHYCO Hybrid Technology, which utilizes thermal energy to form a high concentration of hyaluronic acid. Profhilo H+L’s HA includes 32mg of 80–100 kDa of low-molecular-weight HA and 32mg of 1100–1400 kDa high-molecular-weight HA that are both encapsulated in a sterile, transparent, and thick gel that requires low extrusion force to be administered.

With this innovative design, Profhilo H+L highly stabilized HA has greater resistance to enzymatic breakdown of hyaluronidase and other inflammatory responses. This HA also increases the elastin expressions in fibroblasts, which creates the foundation of a stronger cellular matrix that can withstand skin depressions and volume loss. Profhilo H+L’s time inside the skin coincides with a slow release of HA that stimulates all four types of collagen and elastin simultaneously.

HA replenishes the hydration, elasticity, and even the skin tone of the treated area(s) via Hydrolift Action. This volumizing effect counteracts the natural depletion and reduction of HA in the skin. USE INSTRUCTIONS

HOW DO I USE OR APPLY PROFHILO H+L?

Before proceeding with the treatment, disinfect and clean the area(s) to be treated so as to avoid any infection. As Profhilo H+L is a medical device, only licensed practitioners can perform treatment with this product.

IBSA suggests that the aforementioned professionals use the Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP) technique to administer this product. This technique involves the placement of 0.2ml of this solution in the deep dermis of five specific places via the bolus technique. The areas are the malar area, submalar area, the root of the nasolabial fold, in the pre-tragal, and the area of the marionette lines. This BAP technique maximizes the diffusion of the gel while ensuring it does not harm major vessels. The low viscosity of this product ensures a smooth release with a 29G needle.

After the injection, massage the treated area(s) to ensure an even distribution of the gel. Dispose of the remaining gel and solution.
